The Trump administration asked a federal court in Puerto Rico to dismiss claims that the Department of Labor is retaliating against third-party vendors for doing business with a company running a health insurance-for-data partnership with its users.
Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer argued the vendors’ case essentially repeats claims of a similar failed 2021 case in the US District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, and are centered around the activities of their client rather than their own.
