The Trump administration can’t force Children’s National Hospital to turn over medical records tied to gender-affirming care for a group of families after a federal judge said the effort “appears to have no purpose other than to intimidate and harass.”
Wednesday’s order by Judge Julie R. Rubin of the US District Court for the District of Maryland comes in response to a request from eight families to quash a Department of Justice subpoena’s demandsthat Children’s National turn over information tied to transgender health care provided to their family members.
