Doctors Urge Judge to Restore Online Health Data Wiped by Trump

A group representing thousands of doctors across the US urged a federal judge to temporarily block the Trump administration’s move to take down or substantially modify public health data from government websites.

Doctors for America in a hearing Monday sought to convince Judge John D. Bates of the US District Court for the District of Columbia that websites and data taken down from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Food and Drug Administration, and the Department of Health and Human Services at the end of January were harmful to the health-care providers that rely on the information.
