Doctor Gets Second Shot at Defense in Delayed Diagnosis Case

A Delaware doctor and his practice won a second chance to show that the lawsuit against them brought by the family of a patient who died after allegedly being misadvised about when to have a colon cancer screening was filed too late because an exception to the statute of limitations didn’t apply, the state’s top court said.
