Doctor, 14 Others Charged in $150M Health Insurance Scam

An orthopedic surgeon, his personal lawyer and 13 others were charged with sending more than $150 million in fraudulent bills to insurance companies as part of “one of the largest insurance fraud scams” in California state history, prosecutors announced Sept. 15 (People v.
