A quadriplegic resident and disability rights groups can’t move forward with a lawsuit challenging Delaware’s new end-of-life options act, after a federal judge found they lacked standing to bring it.
The individual plaintiff didn’t allege facts showing that he would be affected by the law, and the groups failed to demonstrate that they’d be injured in any way or that a member would suffer harm as a result of the provision’s enforcement, the US District Court for the District of Delaware said Tuesday.
