CVS to Pay $12.25 Million to Settle Massachusetts Medicaid Suit

Massachusetts AG Andrea Campbell said CVS agreed to pay $12.25m to resolve claims it overcharged state Medicaid program, MassHealth, for prescription drugs.

  • CVS allegedly failed to give MassHealth discounted drug prices offered through ScriptSave program
  • CVS to implement yearly reconciliation process to prevent overcharges
  • Settlement resolves April 2025 suit jointed filed by AGs of Massachusetts, Connecticut, Indiana and Oklahoma
