CVS Health Corp. and Walgreens have provided nearly 900,000 Covid-19 vaccinations at nursing homes and assisted living centers across the country, according to the latest data from both retail pharmacies.
But the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says residents and staff at these long-term care facilities have received only 17%—just over 693,000—of the more than 4 million vaccine doses that have been distributed for their use.
