Express Scripts Inc., one of the nation’s largest pharmacy benefit management companies, isn’t required to reinstate specialty pharmacy Linden Care LLC to its network of pharmacies, a federal court ruled Dec. 7 (Linden Care, LLC v. Express Scripts, Inc., 2015 BL 403279, N.D.N.Y., 1:15-cv-01335-BKS-CFH, 12/7/15).
Judge Brenda K. Sannes of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York issued a memorandum decision and order denying a temporary restraining order that would have forced Express Scripts to resume its contract with Linden Care, after the company had terminated the contract in November.
