Court Holds Pharmacists’ Refusal to Fill Physician’s Prescriptions Not Actionable

A federal court in Tennessee Oct. 9 granted summary judgment to several pharmacies accused of intentionally interfering with a doctor’s business relationships by refusing to fill prescriptions she had written for certain controlled substances (Brown v. CVS Pharmacy, LLC, M.D. Tenn., 3:11-cv-00980, 10/9/13).
