Court Blocks States From Hindering Obamacare to DACA Recipients

Undocumented immigrants who arrived in the US as children will still be allowed to enroll for health coverage through federal insurance exchanges after an appeals court blocked a lower court ruling that allowed 19 states to bar immigrants from coverage.

On Monday, the US Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit issued a temporary administrative stay on a Dec. 9 preliminary injunction from the US District Court for the District of North Dakota preventing those eligible under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Program, or DACA, from accessing subsidized insurance under the Affordable Care Act in a handful of states. ...
