Contract Breach Suit Against Bausch Persists Under Judge’s Order

A generic drug developer sufficiently alleged that the multinational pharmaceutical company Bausch Health breached its duty of good faith and fair dealing in agreements to help develop two generic ophthalmic drugs, a federal judge ruled.

Judge Sara L. Ellis of the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois on Monday denied in part Bausch’s motion to dismiss a November 2023 lawsuit from Chandra V.
