Another compounding pharmacy must correct insanitary manufacturing conditions at its facility, following a warning letter from the FDA.
FDA inspectors uncovered serious deficiencies in Morton Long Term Care’s sterile drug production, a letter posted to the FDA’s website Nov. 15 said.
Because the drug products were prepared, packed or held under insanitary conditions and may have been contaminated with filth or rendered injurious to health, the drugs are adulterated under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FDCA), the letter said.
