A Colorado nurse is joining a lawsuit challenging a state law that bans medical professionals from talking to patients about or helping them to reverse pill-induced abortions.
Chelsea Mynyk, who says “she is religiously compelled to provide abortion pill reversal,” sought to join the suit to protect her First and 14th Amendment interests implicated by the state’s prohibition on the care. None of the parties objected to Mynyk’s request, the US District Court for the District of Colorado said Monday in an opinion granting her motion.
