The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services will establish a computer matching agreement to establish the terms under which state-based administering agencies will access its data services hub, according to a notice published in the July 2 Federal Register (
CMS will allow administering entities from the state-based exchanges—which could include any state agency—to access patient information through its data services hub to make eligibility determinations for insurance applicants, CMS said.
