Charities Will Pay $6 Million in Anti-Kickback Settlement (1)

Two foundations that help people with the cost of prescription drugs will pay $6 million to settle allegations that they worked with drug companies to funnel kickbacks to patients, the Department of Justice said.

The Chronic Disease Fund, also known as Good Days, will pay $2 million and the Patient Access Network Foundation will pay $4 million, the DOJ said Oct. 25. They also must enter into three-year corporate integrity agreements to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
