CDC Overhaul Plans Questioned by House Republicans

House Republicans ask CDC Director Rochelle Walensky about the “Moving Forward” project after it was announced earlier this year the agency was preparing to roll out sweeping changes.

• “The CDC must provide the Committee with more than a cursory, summarized overview of the findings of the Moving Forward Initiative before the Committee can even begin to consider the agency’s request for additional authority,” House Energy and Commerce Committee Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers and others write to Walensky
• NOTE: Walensky said earlier today she will step down as director of the CDC at the end of June
