Six Californian families filed for a temporary restraining order seeking to halt Stanford children’s hospital from complying with a federal grand jury subpoena seeking health records of gender-related care performed on patients.
The complaint, filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Northern District of California, seeks to stop a Justice Department subpoena the lawsuit says was issued through a Texas court for health information related to patients at Stanford Medicine Children’s Health Pediatric and Adolescent Gender Clinic.
