SACRAMENTO, Calif.—The California attorney general’s office announced Aug. 30 that it has accepted the $49 million offer from the Laboratory Corporation of America (LabCorp) to settle a civil suit that accused the clinical testing company of overbilling the state Medicaid program, Medi-Cal.
The settlement is the latest in a case the attorney general has pursued against eight clinical laboratories.
