SACRAMENTO, Calif.—The California state-designated organization overseeing the development of statewide health information exchange services is planning a stakeholder summit for the fall, a spokesman told BNA March 14.
Cal eConnect said the interactive forum will provide an update on California’s HIE progress and provide stakeholders information on how they can become involved with the effort.
The summit could be scheduled for October, spokesman Alex Barrios said, noting the agenda is still being developed. For planning purposes, the group asked interested parties to complete an eight-question online survey.
