Bristol, Janssen Request Early Ruling on Drug Price Negotiations

Top drugmakers Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. and Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. on Wednesday became the latest companies to request early rulings that would block the Medicare agency’s drug price negotiation program.

The manufacturers, which both produce high-selling drugs that analysts predict will be among the first 10 products to face negotiations, filed motions for summary judgment in their respective cases in the US District Court for the District of New Jersey.
