Boston Scientific Drops After Report of Pacemaker Battery Issues

Shares of Boston Scientific fell as much as 3.1% on Thursday after the New York Times reported that the Food and Drug Administration found issues with the firm’s pacemaker battery last spring.

  • FDA inspectors found that a pacemaker battery made more recently had also failed, according to a report that has not previously been made public, the Times reported
