Boeing Among Companies Seeking Predictable Chemicals Oversight

Companies making and using chemicals want the EPA to provide predictable oversight of the substances and timely decisions about whether they can make new ones.

Officials from the Boeing Co., Berkshire Hathaway Inc.'s Lubrizol Corp., and the American Chemistry Council (ACC) represented industry in a Thursday hearing the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee held on chemistry competitiveness and its impacts on innovation, safety, and security.
