US Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra is advising the incoming Trump administration to look to science in fulfilling the agency’s mission.
“Your north star should continue to be science and the evidence. That’s what should drive everything we do,” Becerra said in a Wednesday interview when asked about advice for the incoming administration and its HHS secretary. The interview comes days ahead of Trump’s inauguration and a changing of the guard for the HHS and government agencies.
