The Biden administration finalized a rule on Monday to make it easier to enroll in Medicare Savings Programs, the state Medicaid-run programs that cover Medicare premiums and cost-sharing for more than 10 million low-income seniors and people with disabilities.
The final rule (RIN 0938-AU00) is expected to make coverage more affordable for an estimated 860,000 people, according to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
