Becton Dickinson Says Baxter Infringes Infusion-Pump Patents (1)

Baxter International Inc.’s Novum IQ Infusion Platform infringes six patents related to Becton Dickinson & Co.’s competing infusion-pump technologies, a federal lawsuit said.

Baxter’s platform—which encompasses multiple types of infusion pumps and associated software products—incorporates features such as on-screen barcodes and over-the-air updates that infringe US Patent Nos. 11,289,180, 11,901,058, 11,324,880, 12,278,868, 12,028,414, and 12,205,703, Becton Dickinson alleged in a complaint filed Monday in the US District Court for the District of Delaware.
