Bayer’s New CEO to Fix Company Culture Rather Than Structure

Bayer AG incoming CEO Bill Anderson said he doesn’t believe most shareholders want a break up of the German drug-to-herbicide conglomerate as he pledged to reshape the work culture for its 100,000 employees.

The 56-year-old native of Texas, who previously led the pharmaceuticals unit of Swiss health-care group Roche Holding AG, said while some investors want a restructuring of a business with crop science, pharma and consumer health units, others are just calling for smaller changes or better execution of the current approach.
