Bayer to Pay $74 Million to Settle Cipro Pay-for-Delay Case; Other Lawsuits Continue

Sept. 4 — Counsel for consumers and Bayer AG will find out this fall whether a California trial court will approve a $74 million settlement to end litigation claiming pay-for-delay agreements covering generic versions of Bayer Corp.’s blockbuster antibiotic Cipro violate antitrust laws (Cipro Cases I & II, In re).
