Baker Donelson Hires Kara Ward as Financial Services Shareholder

Kara Ward joined Baker Donelson as a shareholder in Washington, the firm announced Tuesday.

Ward works on issues involving the House Financial Services Committee and Senate Banking Committee, the Treasury Department’s Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Federal Trade Commission, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Federal Reserve, the firm said. She also provides strategic advice addressing decentralized finance activities, including blockchain technology, payment systems, digital identity, anti-money laundering/Bank Secrecy Act solutions, stablecoins, cryptocurrencies, and non-fungible tokens.

She joins from Falcon Capital Advisors.
