An Ascension Health subsidiary got a step closer to collecting $5.4 million from a company it hired to save it money running pharmacies at 83 health-care sites.
The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri April 12 refused to grant Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) pretrial judgment in its breach of contract action against Ascension Health Resource and Supply Management Group LLC d/b/a The Resource Group (TRG). The decision leaves open the possibility that TRG could recover millions on its breach-of-contract counterclaims against CPS.
