Mark Schena, president of Arrayit Corp. in Los Altos, Calif., was convicted in a $77 million Covid-19 and allergy testing scheme, the Department of Justice said Friday.
Schena was convicted of one count of conspiracy to commit health-care fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud, one count of conspiracy to pay kickbacks, two counts of payment of kickbacks, three counts of securities fraud, and two counts of healthcare fraud, the DOJ said.
He is scheduled for sentencing in January 2023.
