Arizona Abortion Providers Move to Block State Limits on Access

Arizona laws prohibiting the mailing of abortion-inducing drugs and restricting access to the procedure violate a newly approved state constitutional amendment, a group of doctors argued in a lawsuit filed Thursday.

The Arizona Medical Association and a pair of OB-GYNs are asking the Arizona Superior Court for Maricopa County to enjoin Arizona state authorities from enforcing statutes the doctors claim violate an Arizona constitutional amendment.
