Antitrust enforcers are raising red flags about competition in health care as lawmakers ramp up their focus on the same issues.
Two Democratic Federal Trade Commission commissioners spoke about a need for more information about changes in the health-care market at different events May 14.
Commissioner Rebecca Kelly Slaughter said the FTC should systematically review past mergers with a focus on how deals across healthy industry sectors may have changed the competitive landscape.
