Anti-Abortion Protesters Lose Challenge to Buffer Zone Law

Anti-abortion protesters in New Hampshire may not challenge an abortion clinic entrance buffer zone law that hasn’t yet been enforced, a federal court has held (Reddy v. Foster, 2016 BL 104745, D.N.H., Civil No. 14-cv-299-JL, 4/1/16).

The U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire April 1 said the plaintiffs didn’t have standing to pursue their claims that N.H. Rev. Stat. Ann. § 132:37-40 violates their rights to freedom of speech, freedom of the press, due process and equal protection under the U.S. and New Hampshire constitutions.
