Anti-Abortion Group Denied Second Go at Planned Parenthood Suit

A nearly $3 million judgment against an anti-abortion group in a lawsuit over actions it took while investigating allegedly illegal or unethical conduct by Planned Parenthood Federation of America will stand, a federal court in California said.

The Center for Medical Progress failed to convince the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California to rethink several evidentiary rulings, grant it judgment contrary to a jury verdict, or order a new trial on Planned Parenthood’s claims.
