Anthem Inc. June 23 reached a $115 million no-fault proposed settlement with consumers to end class claims stemming from a 2015 data breach that affected millions of customers and other individuals ( In re Anthem, Inc. Data Breach Litig., N.D. Cal., No. 15-md-02617, proposed settlement filed 6/23/17).

The settlement fund would be used to provide those affected by the breach with at least two years of credit monitoring, cover expenses incurred by consumers related to the breach, and provide compensation for individuals who have already purchased credit monitoring services.
