Anthem Prosthetic Device Settlement Wins Approval, With Caveat

A class settlement requiring Anthem Inc. to expand its coverage of computerized knee and foot-ankle prosthetic devices won conditional final approval from a California federal judge, who ordered the parties to provide one more round of notice to class members.

A final, post-approval notice is necessary given the nature of the settlement, Judge Otis D. Wright II said in a Wednesday order signing off on the deal.
