BK Medical ApS will pay the government nearly $15 million to end its probe into illegal payments made in Russia and five other foreign countries.
BK Medical, a subsidiary of medical imaging company Analogic Corp., entered into a nonprosecution agreement with the government in connection with the transactions, the DOJ announced June 21.
“We are glad to have this behind us,” Mark Namaroff, director of investor relations at Peabody, Mass.-based Analogic, told Bloomberg BNA June 21. He said the company had already accounted for the payments it will make to the government in its financials.
