Kentucky-based iHealth Solutions, LLC, doing business as Advantum Health, has agreed to pay $75,000 to the Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights to resolve potential violations of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act privacy and security rules, according to a news release Wednesday.
A network server containing the protected health information of 267 individuals was allegedly left unsecure on the internet, and a data breach occurred, the department said.
