An Oklahoma abortion provider and the state are facing off in state court over Oklahoma’s enforcement of a ban on the most common method of second-trimester abortion.
Oklahoma would become the first state in the country to be permitted to stop abortion providers from performing dilation and evacuation procedures at about 14 weeks after a woman’s last menstrual period unless the court preserves an injunction against its enforcement entered over three years ago, Tulsa Women’s Reproductive Clinic LLC said.
