The Supreme Court has received at least 20 briefs supporting the Biden administration in its effort to ensure broader access to the abortion medication mifepristone, with FDA decisions on the drug under fire from conservative physician groups.

The American Civil Liberties Union, the city of New York, and a group of over 300 researchers in the reproductive rights space are among the parties behind briefs docketed Tuesday with the Supreme Court.
