An ongoing court fight over access to medication abortion is headed to another federal district court following after a Texas judge granted a Trump administration request to transfer the case to a new jurisdiction.
Missouri, Kansas, and Idaho’s lawsuit against the Food and Drug Administration over its decisions easing access to mifepristone had no reason to be filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk ruled Tuesday.
Kacsmaryk said the three states can not establish venue in Texas, requiring the court to either outright dismiss or transfer the case.
