The AARP will launch a lobbying blitz next week to pressure Congress not to weaken or scrap new nursing home minimum staffing requirements imposed by the Biden administration.
The multiprong campaign will include “thousands” of telephone calls to lawmakers, online ads urging Congress to keep the new staffing mandates, and a billboard truck circling Capitol Hill on June 3 and June 4 to stress the need for the mandate.
