10x, Bruker End Patent Suit on NanoString Gene-Mapping Tools (1)

10x Genomics Inc. and Bruker Corp. agreed to dismiss a federal lawsuit over genetic-mapping patents more than a year after 10x won a $31 million infringement award from a company Bruker later acquired in a bankruptcy auction.

The agreement dismissed all claims and counterclaims and blocked both sides from renewing allegations, according to Judge Matthew F. Kennelly’s order issued Tuesday in the US District Court for the District of Delaware.

The deal includes “global patent cross-licenses and a complete withdrawal of all legal proceedings, including those in the United States, Germany and before the European Unified Patent Court,” according to ...
