Wye Oak’s $121 Million Win in Iraq Contract Dispute Restored

The Republic of Iraq owes Wye Oak Technology Inc. $121 million for breaching an equipment inventorying, refurbishing, and scrap services contract the company received in 2004.

Wye Oak won this judgment from the US District Court for the District of Columbia in 2019. Iraq got another chance to argue that it was immune from the suit under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act after a ruling by the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit in February.
