Westech Properly Received $91 Million US Army Barracks Contract

Tech Systems Inc. lost its protest of the US Army’s award of a $91 million contract to Westech International Inc. to provide maintenance, supply, and transportation services at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii, the US Court of Federal Claims said.

TSI argued that that the Army didn’t provide enough detail when it analyzed the technical acceptability of Westech’s proposal. But the “Army went through the solicitation’s requirements—subsection by subsection—and explained how Westech’s proposal matched the solicitation’s criteria,” Judge Eric G. Bruggink said in an opinion made public Tuesday.
