Westcon, Comstor Beat Noncompliant Products False Claims Case

A false claims whistle-blower failed to sufficiently raise a false claims case against Westcon Group Inc. and its subsidiary Comstor Corp. for allegedly selling Cisco Systems Inc. computer equipment to the government that didn’t satisfy the Trade Agreements Act, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia said.

Whistle-blower Brady Folliard didn’t show that the General Services Administration consistently refused to pay contractors for their failure to comply with the Trade Agreements Act, which provides that items sold under GSA contracts must be U.S.-made or end products from designated countries, the court said.
