VA Defeats Protests of Suicide-Prevention-Services Procurement

The US Department of Veterans Affairs reasonably excluded two bidders from a competition for commercial support services to reduce and prevent suicide by military members and veterans, the GAO said in a decision released Friday.

The VA reasonably concluded that awarding a contract to District Communications Group LLC or CruxDCG LLC—a joint venture of Crux Firm LLC and District Communications— would cause an impaired objectivity organizational conflict of interest, the Government Accountability Office said.
