Universal Synaptics Must Face Partner’s Trade Secrets Lawsuit

Universal Synaptics Corp. must continue to face a lawsuit from former partner Total Quality Systems Inc. alleging trade secret misappropriation following the “deterioration” of their business relationship.

The complaint states a plausible claim for trade secret misappropriation under the Defend Trade Secrets Act and Uniform Trade Secrets Act, Chief Judge Robert J. Shelby of the US District Court for the District of Utah said in a Wednesday opinion.
