The US Army will try to comply with President Donald Trump’s contracting executive order by seeking commercial vendors to meet its systems engineering and technical assistance needs, the government told a federal court.
The Army will begin communicating with commercial vendors July 15 to assess contracting vehicle options, and will solicit and award a commercial contract before Feb. 14, 2026, which marks the end of the SETA II contract, the government told Judge Zachary N. Somers of the US Court of Federal Claims in a Tuesday status report.
